🎢 Why DreamWorks Water Park Made The Other List

If you’re looking for an indoor escape that works for both kids and adults, DreamWorks Water Park at American Dream delivers on the fun. It’s packed with slides, splash zones, and just enough space to stretch out — especially if you’re with little ones or rolling deep with another family.

We visited for a full family day and had an absolute blast. Here’s how it stacked up, and one thing we’d love to see improved.

💧 What We Loved

✅ Room for Everyone

This park is huge. With plenty of slides and water attractions, there was never a dull moment. The layout gives both toddlers and thrill-seekers something to enjoy.

✅ Loft or Cabana = Game Changer

If you’re bringing a baby or coming with another family, I highly recommend renting a loft or cabana. It gives you a semi-private space to rest, regroup, and stash your stuff without scrambling for chairs or open spots.

✅ Surprisingly Chill Rules

Although the website says no outside food or drinks, we noticed that no one was really checking. Not saying to test the rules — just saying, parents will understand.

✅ Water Shoes = Must

The floor can be very slippery, especially in high-traffic zones. Definitely wear water shoes. The park has added splash pad zones in some areas to help, but traction is still an issue in others.

🧷 Room for Improvement

🚼 Baby Changing Station Placement = 👎

One major downside: the baby changing station. It’s located in a busy hallway by the lockers, with people constantly walking by — and even using it as a table. I had to wait just to change my baby while people leaned on it. It’s uncomfortable and totally lacking in privacy.

Babies deserve better, and this design flaw cost the park a star in my book.

🤔 Final Thoughts

DreamWorks Water Park makes The Other List because it’s a solid choice for a full family day out. Tons to do, warm water, and a wide age range of slides and pools.

With just a little more attention to comfort (especially for families with infants), it could easily be a 5-star experience.
